Last year we celebrated John Bingeman’s 60th anniversary of diving by taking John for a dive on the wreck of Invincible. Joining us for this milestone was the discoverer and friend Arthur Mack. Arthur Mack discovered the wreck on the 5th May 1979 and soon teamed up with John Bingeman to investigate the wreck for the next 30 years. The BBC Inside Out programme along with underwater cameraman, Michael Pitts, captured the days event on film. The piece really captures the passion and love John and Arthur have for the wreck as well as re-living the moments of discovery and early exploration of Invincible.
